R18: Fast accurate 600mm 5- and 6-axis general purpose articulated robot arm

The r18 uses servo motors with optional encoder feedback. The package includes the Mk6 controller which is simple and reliable using a partnership of fast CPU and DSP processors and compact servo drives. Software is ROBOFORTH II which makes this robot really easy to get started with yet the most complex motions, interfaces and peripherals may be programmed, assisted by ROBWIN project manager which brings everything together on one screen. The R18 is a complete self-contained five or six axis vertically articulated robot arm system designed as a cost effective solution for processes requiring high speed, accuracy or difficult access. Applications include deburring, welding.
The hand terminates in a mounting plate for grippers, spray guns etc.
All STI robot systems are programmed in
ROBOFORTH II, the most extensive robot programming language in the world.
