ST have been manufacturing and installing robots for over a decade. ST robots are simple, fast, accurate and inexpensive and above all totally reliable. ST achieves this with strict quality control, extended testing and, during the design, life testing and 'trauma' testing i.e. deliberate ramming by the robot to prove out long term ruggedness and abuse tolerance. The controls feature modular multi-processor designs with extensive I/O capability.
Software in the controller is ROBOFORTH II, an open architecture language with some 400 English language commands and ROBWIN a graphical user interface making it easy to create and manage complex programs with hundreds of learned coordinates, plus an ActiveX interface for easy integration into user's software or supervisors.
